I began my musical career at 19 joining a 10 - piece " oldies band" called The Bel Airs in the No. VA area. I loved this early Rock - N - Roll music from the start. Wolfman Jack actually M.C.'d the very first show we played at a place called "The Juke Box Cafe". From there , I went on to play in bands that exclusively covered The Beatles and Tom Petty & the Heart breakers. I also write music, and have played in bands throughout Texas and Virginia performing original music. When I was 15, I was listening to popular music from my high school years, then one day I was at a friend's house and he had his parent's 45's. He played "That'll be the Day" Buddy Holly & the Crickets, and my life took on a new direction.
I have over the years been in a vast spectrum of original rock, cover rock and country bands.I've been playing drums since I was 8 years old, playing guitar for the last 10, and singing out loud since I can remember.Have been lead vocals in these bands and/or provide strong harmony backup vocals. In past bands have written, co-wrote and arranged many original songs and continue to compose. Music is such an intricate part of my life, through my eyes and ears, straight into my heart and my expression to share with all.
I'm an artist and musician. I admire many styles and write original music. I've been compared to Oasis, Coldplay, Goo Goo Dolls, and Greenday. My artwork reflects my passion for music and nature.Specifically, Monarch butterflies as I raise and release them year-round.
